I wish..........

I wish some one would remind me every day…

1- Pray five times.

2- Do not over eat

3- Eat Healthy Foods

4- Exercise .

5- Do not backbite

6- Help some one in need with a good heart.

7- Love your family members unconditionally

8- Love your neighbours

9- Control anger etc etc..........

But could there be any one who will think good for me more than my ownself? Hence it is in my own hand to remind me of all these or not to remind myself or to keep doing it or not to keep doing it.

In addition I can remind family members and friends to do all these. But can I remind them to do all these before I do it or unless I am doing it? There is no better way to remind family and friends to do such unless by being a model or an example to them in such deeds………

In search of appreciation???

Many a times, when people help others, they seek appreciation and recognition in one form or the other. When ever people help others or lend a helping hand, the understanding behind is I give you something and I get something in return…Its very rarely people help others un-conditionally seeking nothing in return from the one being helped.

Hence the complaints pile up, “I keep doing this and that, what do I get in return?” They certainly do get nothing in return, not even contentment from having helped some one…Why?

When ever we help others, we should seek reward from Allah only……..And its better to lend a helping hand without any ones’ knowledge and expect nothing in return from them.. Seeking nothing but reward from Allah…Then you get contentment from having helped some one and the good will return to you in one form or the other. Insha Allah

As we celebrate.

There are those, who are crying in secret.

There are those who are humiliated.

There are those who are really happy about the outcome.

There are those who pretend that things turned out as they wanted.

There are those who still oppose.

There are those who wants to take revenge.

But now this is the time to unite.

There are those who have started pointing fingers to the new elected president at this early stage as well.Trying to find fault before things have got started.

This achievement is something we have to be thankful to Almighty Allah in the first place. This has happened with combined effort of many.Mohamed Nasheedh Anni, when one looks at all he has gone through, it is very obvious he deserves to be where he is today. And there are those who have played a huge role in achieving where we are. Those who are at front level of MDP Ithihaadh, those who gave good speeches, writers, and many more. There is the famous website which published cartoons, used abusive language, etc. We cant deny this website too made a huge differemce, but I think all such things should be left behind. And we should start afresh and writers too should opt for constructive crticism where articles are based on facts, and which present both sides etc.

As a citizen, we all have responsibilities at our level.Voting can be said as one such responsibility. There are many such.

This is a new chapter. And all should try to create an atmosphere of unity rather than sow seeds of hatred.Let things begin and then letcriticism come, but let it come constructively which will benefit all.

Who is the best?

All the euphoria of past weeks, months, is about to end.

As with shows like, Indian Idol and American Idol, its in hands of public to choose.

What we see in our atmosphere is more like trying to choose an idol, rather than trying to find who to be the leader of this country. What should be kept in mind is the most popular need not be the most efficient among all. There are other things to be looked upon rather than popularity.Things that need to be looked upon are things such as, integrity, capability, sincerity etc.Education, experience, these are added bonus points, But everything does not end there. We need something more, mostly a leader of Integrity is what this country needs right now.We need someone who is a model himself and who abides by efficient principles and values, and who inspire others to be of such.We need a leader who can unite the nation .We need a leader who prioritize our religon first be it through Islamic scholars, or be it through other leaders.

No doubt we have all heard about the dirty side of all candidates.Regardless of this we have to make a choice, we cant say there is no one who is right and avoid our duty.Lets forget about the dirty side of all, and look at good in all and weigh it and then decide.

And I hope this time the best wins, and our country sees good change. And I hope we all make a wise decision, and I hope the out come is fair and real, and I hope its the best that is to our religion, nation, youth, children, and all Maldivians.

Facebook

I also have a facebook account. But I rarely check facebook depending on my lack of interest and time to spend surfing facebook.

The problem with all such utilities is that people have a tendency to abuse these.

And there are those groups in which people somehow think they have the right to publish others photos in them without their knowledge and allow all sort of comments for the people of the group.Isnt this violating the right of another?

I guess the conclusion that can be arrived from such actions is lack of Islamic knowledge and not knowing Islamic principles and values.
