Ramadan day 16

Its a Tuesday morning in Ramadan, Alhamdhulillah. The

Second half of Ramadan going on. How much has our souls and hearts been cleansed during this Ramadan? Humans and all animals are subjected to cleaning and humans know that cleaning only js not enough we need cleansing from sins, namely repentance , we need to clean our hearts namely tazkiya. Each of us has different struggles , packaged with different levels of patience courage strength etc. some peoples strength and struggles are always not so obvious. Nevertheless their strength will not go without cleansing the soul if exercised with iman and patience. As children grow up and become young adults, their test papers get harder they need to think more they need to put things in perspective. Also it is the time to realise that human beings are weak and things do not always go according to our wishes and plans. That is what makes this life. Life is figuring it out sorting it out and getting organized what needs to be done for the hereafter . Yes life is all about realizing we are mere travelers . The world will measure courage and success . But everything is not always how the world sees it. Hence make every day a new chance to rise and grow to get closer to Allah SWA. Let every day be a day that you work on cleansing tour heart and helping others . Let every day be a day in which your thoughts have a place for others . Exercise love towards others . Pray for others . And let the angels say aameen and pray for your well being. Alhamdhulillah for a new day of Ramadan and a new day. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. But tor today Alhamdhulillah.

In knowing nothing lasts for ever.......

Nothing lasts for ever...
A fact of life,
Nothing good or bad lasts for ever...
As a matter of fact!

Events happen in life,
we meet people in life,
for a reason,
and at times,
for a season!

they leave a message,
leave an impact,
leave a memory,
Sometimes a knock or
A lesson meant for a lifetime.

And then people are always
like travellers,
they come and go...!
And then leave a memory on the way.

We all are indeed travelling
and are travellers,
Walking towards and headed for the everlasting!
Some accompany us along the walk
In the path of life,
some hold our hands,
some just pave way
Some just leave a kind word,
either way as the saying goes,
"At the end of the day, we are all walking each other home."

In this temporary dwelling,
nothing is worth holding on to,
except for our good deeds,
everything else is meant to be detached from
Because nothing lasts for ever!

Even the beautiful rain drops,
Lasts for a while,
at times Just enough to nourish life and the earth.
Sunshine lasts for a time
To brighten life.
Such is life!

The worry that resides in our hearts,
the anxiety that lurks in our thoughts,
the doubt that knocks,
the sorrows of life,
is not here to stay,
especially when life simple truth is accepted!
Nothing lasts for ever,
and yes, not even cold November rain,

Such is life.

in search of truth.....

There are many ways of learning , and learning new things, learning the truth,
It could come from a deep desire to know,
from trying hard day by day,
It could also come from just a hope, a hope to seek the truth,

It could come from just an intention deep down in the heart,
And when it comes, it certainly comes as a blessing,

To know something good, to gain an understanding,
could be an enlightenment!

It certainly is a new chance,
to see and appreciate life's blessings,
In a meaningful way,
To see the blessings around,
the countless means around us,
And feel grateful,
and just be grateful through out the day....

How different is your opinion

We all have difference of opinions over a matter. When we refuse to see the other side of the coin we always misinterpret other peoples thoughts and expressions in an obsessed manner. Difference of opinion is healthy! But do.not let it become so different to the point where you see nothing but your opinion!

looking down or up or ahead

I have actually seen people laugh at me
Mock at me
But then I always forgave them
I told well, it is not their fault.
It did hurt neverthless

But I respect them
care for them
However much I can
And hold no grudges
After all we all are human

We all gossip
We all backbite
We all lie
At one time or another

But I tell myself
I will never mock and laugh at another
I will never look down on another
Cox I know how it feels actually

But then at the end of the day
Life goes on
Another new day comes
And those actions are mere human
Why take it so seriously?

Simple words

Freedom....what exactly is freedom and how free are we to do what we want out of our life?

Under normal circumstances, no matter where we are in life, we all have the freedom to do what we want out of our life, we have the freedom to choose which road we want to take, which dress to wear, what to say etc....regardless of lifes' generals principles and values, this freedom do exist..

Lets take for an example the case of a students. They are free to do what they want with their school days, like skipping classes, cheating, bullying others etc, or they are free to choose to take their studies seriously and work best to their capacity and determination. They choose their actions depending on their level of determination, and what they want out of life and what they want to give in return etc....and how much lifes principles and values matter to them...In the end they will have to face consequences any way, with a first class pass, or an average pass or a fail, but ofcourse failures are never reason to loose hope as long as ur intention and determination were right, so things depend on our intentions and our determiantion and dedication, if our intention is right, then we are on the right path,,,what i mean is after on e failure students often get many chances to try and try again,

Like wise its our determination, intentions that often take us to different levels in our chosen careers....
Like wise its the parents sincerity, determination and dedication which often brings out the best in their children.....

The fact is we always have to face the consequences of our own actions...in one way or the other,,

Different people choose different path in life , and there are people of different faiths..

Among Muslims too religon is practiced by different people to different levels, perhaps it depends on their dedication and how much they value their faith, in the end for certain we all have to pay the price of our actions good or bad,,,

quite often among Muslims too there are pepole who might not want t o practice Islamic aspects such as wearing hijaab, wearing niqaab , wearing beard etc...but being Muslims do they have the right to make fun of such aspects? Could they be more knowledgable than relgisou scholars who ask Muslims to practice it? this who make fun of such facts are making fun of their own belief, arent they?

Certainly no Muslim can deny that a Muslim have to pray 5 times a day, its obligatory, yet how many of us fail to dedicate less than an hour divided in to five times a day for our creator who blessed us with numerous blessings? How often do we giev importance to our jobs, our studies rather than our religous duties?

Life is full of ups and downs, if we are not grateful to Allah SWA during good times, to whom can we turn during lifes bad times which will come for certain sooner or later?

As Muslims we should know there are people who practice Islam to different levels, and all of us should learn to respect one another, those blessed with more knowledge and rigtheousness too should not look down on others, and those less practicing Muslims too should stop looking for a chance to make fun of there own faith rather should try to be more righteous, learn more about Islam and be thankful to Allah SWA..

Self confidence

Self confidence is one of the most valuable attire any human being can possess. When it comes along with faith, principles and values the path of life appears smooth and wonderful till it reaches end. The obstacles along just acts as a strength for such people. The challenge of coming the obstacle just motivates them, to get over with it.with out self confidence path of life becomes a bed of thorns, which one can't get rid of along the path of life. Thorns just keep pressing, and beauty of life becomes invisible.

Self confidence is one of the most valuable gift a parent can give to a child. It's invaluable. Children start to learn this from a very young age; from what they see around, from how people react towards them etc. Hence it's acquired from young age and parents love and guidance continue to strengthen it during teenage years and so on. Nothing  could make a parent more happier than seeing ones children act with discipline and excel in life. Today this remains as a big challenge for parents. Self confident and disciplined children. Self confidence with out discipline and knowledge of principles and values is as dangerous as one without self confidence. It's a challenge for parents and when they see their children become responsible people , their self confidence as a parent increases knowing its time to slow down a little bit.

Everything that happens and that comes our way certainly happens for a reason. Every day is a new day with new hopes. Numerous blessings are around. Anything could change in a mere second. Hope for the best at all times and keep on walking ahead with yesterday's lesson in hand and today's task in hand.

aging

when you are 30 or 40 years old is the perfect time to look back upon your life, and ask yourself, what you have made of your life, what you have given, what you have taken...etc..
Its not the time to make mistakes, Its the timeto look back and learn...Its the time to teach, from what life has taught you, and start acting or being wise....

If when you are 40 or 50 you arent more loving, more giving, more caring, more in to thinking about the purpose of life, more in the remembrance of Allah, you should weep..and consider you life being wasted..But as each day is a new chance, there is still time to act on lifes knowledge...

Make up your mind today, to act wise even if you arent, It s likely to come with the acting...

May Allah gives us all a chance to repent, and be better human beings, better Muslims..

sad day

It was a days' incidence,
which shook the entire nation.

Which brought tears to the eyes of all that
who heard the news.

Just a few days after the holy month of Ramazan,
when our hearts were still fresh with all the good
of the holy month of Ramazan..
the sad news brought tears to all our eyes..
As the whole nation became still, started thinking...

As we think of the lives lost,
And their families,
And the tragic way that ended the lives,
None can hold back tears

Such unity was seen through it,

our eyes might stop the tears.
But none can forget the tragic incident..

it brought with it, sorrows, tears, and lessons, we all can remember..
For the rest of our lives..

May Allah grant the souls, Jannah...

peace of mind.....

Humans are in need of contentment. We all search for ways of getting this.People choose various methods to arrive there. Some people listen to music, some people go for the luxuries of life, some work after fame, some after money and the list goes on. Quite often after achieving all these also, we still remain too far from content.

And then there are those of us (including me) who waste too much time on facebook, either playing games or either commenting somewhere or uploading personal photographs etc...Quite often not realising that we are spending so much time and getting a momentary pleasure...So much of our precious time wasted...

All of this proves that the most rare commodity on earth today is peace of mind...

In search of this we look for everywhere other than where we should be looking or working, to build our spirituality, and to know the purpose of life....

And there are those who think they are very much content with the material stuff in this material world...they are content till hardships comes along....

So where do we find this?
Dont look too far, Look inside your heart and ask your self why we are hear, try to understand the purpose of life, and learn to apply religous knowledge. Dont let our religous knowledge be a piece of information . Let it become something which is practiced according to Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohamed SAW. Knowledge which is not practiced only remains a piece of information. And information can be found anywhere today, on internet, books, etc...

May we learn to apply our religous knowledge on Islam.
May Allah SWA guide us to the straight path.

Each new day............

Each new day brings along with it, happiness, joy, sorrow, pain….

Each new day brings along with it new fragrances……..

Each new day brings along it with glimpses of pain……

Each new day takes away some of the pain in life…..

Each new day takes away some of the joy……..

Each new day brings along with it breezes of peace……..

Each new day brings along with it a touch of sorrow…….

But most important of all……..

Each new day brings along with it a NEW CHANCE……..

Another chance, to do something……

To be something,

To become something,

To try something new…….

Each new day is another reminder

Each new day is a NEW CHANCE…….

To strive hard….to strive for Jannah.

I wish..........

I wish some one would remind me every day…

1- Pray five times.

2- Do not over eat

3- Eat Healthy Foods

4- Exercise .

5- Do not backbite

6- Help some one in need with a good heart.

7- Love your family members unconditionally

8- Love your neighbours

9- Control anger etc etc..........

But could there be any one who will think good for me more than my ownself? Hence it is in my own hand to remind me of all these or not to remind myself or to keep doing it or not to keep doing it.

In addition I can remind family members and friends to do all these. But can I remind them to do all these before I do it or unless I am doing it? There is no better way to remind family and friends to do such unless by being a model or an example to them in such deeds………

In search of appreciation???

Many a times, when people help others, they seek appreciation and recognition in one form or the other. When ever people help others or lend a helping hand, the understanding behind is I give you something and I get something in return…Its very rarely people help others un-conditionally seeking nothing in return from the one being helped.

Hence the complaints pile up, “I keep doing this and that, what do I get in return?” They certainly do get nothing in return, not even contentment from having helped some one…Why?

When ever we help others, we should seek reward from Allah only……..And its better to lend a helping hand without any ones’ knowledge and expect nothing in return from them.. Seeking nothing but reward from Allah…Then you get contentment from having helped some one and the good will return to you in one form or the other. Insha Allah

As we celebrate.

There are those, who are crying in secret.

There are those who are humiliated.

There are those who are really happy about the outcome.

There are those who pretend that things turned out as they wanted.

There are those who still oppose.

There are those who wants to take revenge.

But now this is the time to unite.

There are those who have started pointing fingers to the new elected president at this early stage as well.Trying to find fault before things have got started.

This achievement is something we have to be thankful to Almighty Allah in the first place. This has happened with combined effort of many.Mohamed Nasheedh Anni, when one looks at all he has gone through, it is very obvious he deserves to be where he is today. And there are those who have played a huge role in achieving where we are. Those who are at front level of MDP Ithihaadh, those who gave good speeches, writers, and many more. There is the famous website which published cartoons, used abusive language, etc. We cant deny this website too made a huge differemce, but I think all such things should be left behind. And we should start afresh and writers too should opt for constructive crticism where articles are based on facts, and which present both sides etc.

As a citizen, we all have responsibilities at our level.Voting can be said as one such responsibility. There are many such.

This is a new chapter. And all should try to create an atmosphere of unity rather than sow seeds of hatred.Let things begin and then letcriticism come, but let it come constructively which will benefit all.

Who is the best?

All the euphoria of past weeks, months, is about to end.

As with shows like, Indian Idol and American Idol, its in hands of public to choose.

What we see in our atmosphere is more like trying to choose an idol, rather than trying to find who to be the leader of this country. What should be kept in mind is the most popular need not be the most efficient among all. There are other things to be looked upon rather than popularity.Things that need to be looked upon are things such as, integrity, capability, sincerity etc.Education, experience, these are added bonus points, But everything does not end there. We need something more, mostly a leader of Integrity is what this country needs right now.We need someone who is a model himself and who abides by efficient principles and values, and who inspire others to be of such.We need a leader who can unite the nation .We need a leader who prioritize our religon first be it through Islamic scholars, or be it through other leaders.

No doubt we have all heard about the dirty side of all candidates.Regardless of this we have to make a choice, we cant say there is no one who is right and avoid our duty.Lets forget about the dirty side of all, and look at good in all and weigh it and then decide.

And I hope this time the best wins, and our country sees good change. And I hope we all make a wise decision, and I hope the out come is fair and real, and I hope its the best that is to our religion, nation, youth, children, and all Maldivians.

Facebook

I also have a facebook account. But I rarely check facebook depending on my lack of interest and time to spend surfing facebook.

The problem with all such utilities is that people have a tendency to abuse these.

And there are those groups in which people somehow think they have the right to publish others photos in them without their knowledge and allow all sort of comments for the people of the group.Isnt this violating the right of another?

I guess the conclusion that can be arrived from such actions is lack of Islamic knowledge and not knowing Islamic principles and values.

Are you perfect?

We all mistakes. Infact it is not possible to be error free or to avoid mistakes.Or to put it another way no one is perfect.

But what matters is what did we learn from our mistakes or error? Have we learned the lesson or are we analyzing it and trying to avoid it for the second time. You don’t have to make a mistake every time to learn a lesson. But if you learn the lesson from it and do not repeat your mistakes then there is not much to lose I suppose. But if you keep repeating your mistakes, that means you are not aware you are committing a mistake or that means you just don’t care.Either way its only you who will have to pay the price of your mistakes, its you who will have to face the consequences SOONER or LATER.

Just as a new born learn new things every day, so does we adults. It may not be every day for us.But certain events that happen in our life and in the people around us, we should learn from it.Everything in life happens for a reason and there is meaning , something to learn in the events of life.

Hence the question is not how many times you erred. The question is did you learn from your mistakes or have we repented?
